Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ICT Primary Care Remote Support Officer to provide first-line and remote ICT support at the Tameside General Hospital site. The role emphasizes incident logging, monitoring, and service requests handling within an NHS ICT environment.

The successful candidate will have ITIL knowledge, experience with Microsoft 365 and Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE standard or equivalent is required.
• ITIL V3 Foundation knowledge is essential.
• AS or A Level qualifications in relevant subjects.
• ITIL v3/4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Logging and monitoring incidents and service requests.
• Maintaining incidents and service requests with ITIL practices.
• Resolve basic incidents at first point of contact and escalate as needed.
• Provide first-line and remote support for PC hardware and software.
