Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced IC Design Layout Engineer for a 6-month contract role. You will work remotely, contributing to the physical implementation of complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in IC layout design, a strong understanding of CMOS technologies, and be proficient with Cadence design tools. This position demands attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in analogue and mixed-signal IC layout design.
• Strong understanding of CMOS technologies and IC design methodologies.
• Proficiency with Cadence design tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate transistor, cell and block-level schematics into robust physical layouts.
• Produce bespoke analogue, digital and mixed-signal IC layouts.
• Perform physical verification including Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS).
