Job summary

The Cheshire Club is seeking a Business Development Consultant to work remotely on a contract basis. You will expand the club’s network of member businesses, partners and sponsors by identifying opportunities, conducting outreach campaigns, and nurturing relationships.

Responsibilities include developing tailored proposals, supporting business planning, and providing strategic input on events, media platforms, and networking activities to drive growth for clients and the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Experience in consulting and business planning to assess client needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with relationship-building skills.
• Background in business development, sales, or partnerships within professional services, media, or events is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and manage a pipeline.
• Conduct outreach campaigns and nurture relationships with prospective clients and collaborators.
• Develop tailored proposals and support business planning initiatives.
• Provide strategic input on events, media platforms, and networking activities to drive client growth.
• Regularly report pipeline activity and coordinate with internal teams.
