Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Delivery Solution Architect for its Grid Software team in the United Kingdom. You will guide design, integration, and deployment of advanced energy management solutions for utilities, acting as a bridge between client requirements and technical execution.

You will collaborate with Technical Leads and Solution Specialists to shape architectures, support DevOps deployments, and translate DER impacts into robust system designs for modern, decentralized grids.

Qualifications

• Formal education in Engineering or a similar program is nice to have, but total experience and achievements matter most.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise software for energy or grid domains is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of DERs, distribution planning and SCADA systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GE GridOS DERMS solutions to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Solution Specialists to shape architecture and delivery.
• Support DevOps to deploy GridOS DERMS in client environments for use cases and planning scenarios.
• Engage with utility clients to translate DER impacts into actionable requirements and designs.
• Improve deployment processes through automation and scripting for seamless integration.
• Lead client-specific testing, validation, and training to ensure user readiness.
• Create business cases and new product requirements from client processes and policies.
• Drive project success by managing risks and supporting pre-sales and expansion.
