Job summary

Poolside is a fully remote company with monthly in-person weeks in London or elsewhere. You will own our office, travel and on-sites, working closely with the People leader to shape the culture, engagement and growth experiences that help our team thrive as we scale.

You'll work with engineers to leadership and external partners, bringing a strong service mindset, English proficiency and hands-on experience in workplace operations, events and people experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across workplace, event management and people experience.
• Experience at a scaling company is required.
• Exceptional service mindset and detail-oriented approach.
• Comfort building processes where none exist yet.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day workplace operations: facilities, vendors, supplies, food deliveries, maintenance, and health & safety.
• Own and improve travel management: collaborate with Finance to support business travel.
• Own the logistics for our monthly on-sites: venues, accommodation, travel, catering and agendas.
• Manage relationships with landlords, building management and external vendors, plus budgets and contracts.
• Support onboarding and offboarding on the workplace side: access and IT handover.
• Design and run engagement programs with our People leader, from pulse checks to recognition.
• Design team on-sites and leadership sessions: formats, agendas and experiences.
• Help build development and growth fabric: learning sessions and mentoring.
• Shape the employee journey from first day to milestones.
• Plan and deliver team events and in-person moments that build connection.
• Build processes we don't have yet: identify missing pieces, set them up, and iterate.
