Job summary

Energy Saving Trust is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to work across the full finance transformation lifecycle, partnering with Finance, Technology and Digital teams, and external implementation specialists.

The role focuses on improving finance processes, controls and data flows, translating business needs into clear deliverables, and ensuring new finance solutions are well governed and aligned with organisational needs.

Qualifications

• Proven BA experience in a finance transformation programme or major process improvement.
• Experience working with Finance teams and external implementation partners.
• Strong knowledge of requirements traceability, process mapping, system integrations and data migration.
• Experience with data quality management and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with regulatory and statutory requirements in finance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve end-to-end finance processes, systems, controls and data flows.
• Elicit, document and manage business requirements from discovery through design, build, testing and go-live.
• Create functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and data models.
• Translate requirements between Finance, technical teams and partners.
• Support finance system configuration, integrations, data migration, cleansing, reconciliation and validation.
• Define and improve financial reporting, MI, data governance and quality standards.
• Plan and support UAT, test scenarios and defect triage.
• Facilitate workshops and maintain strong relationships across the programme.
• Support implementation and a smooth transition into BAU.
