Job summary

Energy Saving Trust is hiring a Finance Business Analyst on a fixed-term 12-month contract to shape and deliver robust, scalable finance capabilities. You will partner with Finance, Technology and Digital teams and external partners across the full transformation lifecycle.

The role offers remote-friendly working, with in-person options in London and other offices as suitable, and a salary up to £53,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance transformation initiatives and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear deliverables and specifications.
• Strong analytical, data visualization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve end-to-end finance processes, systems, controls and data flows.
• Elicit, document and manage business requirements from discovery through design, build, testing and go‑live.
• Create functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and data models.
• Translate requirements between Finance, technology and implementation partners.
• Support finance system configuration, data migration and validation.
• Define and improve financial reporting, MI, data governance and quality standards.
• Plan and support user acceptance testing and defect triage.
• Facilitate workshops and build relationships across the programme.
• Support smooth transition into business as usual.
