EXL is seeking a Functional Business Analyst – Finance Transformation to join our Digital and AI team in London. This hands-on role blends a strong finance and accounting background with technology delivery, supporting finance transformation and system implementation initiatives.

You will map as-is and to-be processes, capture requirements, support design, testing and UAT, and identify AI-driven opportunities to improve finance processes.

Formación

• Strong experience as Functional/Finance Transformation Analyst.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA desirable; strong accounting background considered.
• Experience on finance transformation programmes.
• Hands-on experience supporting finance system implementations.
• Experience gathering and translating requirements into solutions.
• Strong process mapping and stakeholder management.
• Experience testing, UAT and implementation activities.
• Experience using Generative AI tools in Finance (Copilot/Claude).
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to improve processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Understand current processes and opportunities for improvement with stakeholders.
• Gather, analyse and document functional and business requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specs for tech teams.
• Support design and implementation of new finance processes and systems.
• Map as-is and to-be processes; identify standardisation and automation.
• Support system implementation activities including testing and readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Data and other stakeholders.
• Support UAT with test scenarios and issue resolution.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to improve productivity.
• Produce clear process documentation and project materials.
• Maintain alignment of business requirements with delivered solutions.
