Job summary

Innovate UK Business Connect is seeking an Events Manager on a fixed-term contract based in the UK. The role is home-based with full-time hours (37.5 per week) and a salary of £40,000 per annum.

You will design and deliver event experiences, manage budgets, and collaborate across teams to create impactful campaigns for diverse audiences. The role requires delivering high-quality attendee journeys, across live and online events, with opportunities for professional development and a strong focus

Qualifications

• Experience in event operations, design or production – live and online.
• Experience across online and face-to-face events.
• Proven ability to handle challenging environments and unforeseen circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver events aligned with client and Innovate UK Business Connect objectives.
• Ensure a seamless and high-quality attendee journey from pre- to post-event.
• Be creative in delivering innovative events for consumer and business audiences.
• Collaborate across teams to deploy cross-company skills and align with strategy and values.
• Budget time and expenditure, and update forecast visibility before closure.
• Set clear objectives for events and measure success against them.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure Innovate UK Business Connect is seen as a valued client.
• Aim for events to be renowned for high quality experience and impact.
• Gather attendee data to continually improve events.
