Job summary

Asset Finance International is seeking an experienced Events Manager to drive growth through organised events, raising awareness among members and brokers within the commercial finance sector.

The role includes line managing an Events Assistant, supporting the communications team, and occasional travel to the London office (2–3 times per month). Hybrid working in Surrey with opportunities in London.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in events management for professional membership organisations.
• Experience in line management and coordinating multiple events.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run events for existing and new members to raise awareness.
• Line manage Events Assistant and support communications team.
• Coordinate travel and logistics; occasional travel to London office.

Job description

Our client is a well respected and national organisation affiliated to finance brokers and related professionals within the commercial finance industry.

Due to growth they are looking for an experienced Events Manager to ensure the continued growth through the use of organised events to highlight awareness of our client. The role will also be required to plan and arrange events for new and existing Members to promote our client.. The role will also include line management responsibilities of an Events Assistant. Duties will also include supporting the communication team and wider team ensuring attention to detail and delivery of tasks in a timely manner.

The role will require occasional travel to the London office - two or three times a month.

6 & 12 Month Fixed-Term Contracts | Surrey | Hybrid Working.
