Job summary

Innovate UK Business Connect is seeking an Events Manager to design and deliver high-impact event experiences that meet client objectives and help build a powerful network of innovators. You will work with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders across live and online formats to manage budgets, touchpoints and post-event insights, continually improving attendee experience.

Strong project management and communication across UK audiences are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in event operations, design, contracting or production – live and online.
• Experience across online and face-to-face events.
• Proven ability to handle challenging environments and unforeseen circumstances.
• Experience delivering brilliant execution to a high standard.
• Experience working within and across teams.
• Experience across multiple regions and demographics.

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues to design and deliver events that achieve objectives.
• Ensure all attendees enjoy a seamless high-quality user journey from pre to post-event.
• Be creative in delivering innovative events across consumer and business initiatives.
• Collaborate across the organization with cross-company skills and values.
• Budget time and expenditure effectively; notify owners of forecast changes.
• Set objectives for events and measure success against them.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure Innovate UK Business Connect is seen as a valued client.
• Ensure events gain recognition for high quality experiences and impact.
