Innovate UK Business Connect seeks an Events Manager on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) to Oct 2027, based in the UK. The role offers a £40,000 per year salary and is home-based across the UK.

You will design and deliver events, manage budgets and work with contractors to create impactful campaigns for diverse audiences. Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, you will ensure high-quality attendee experiences from pre-event to post-event while focusing on ROI and cross-team delivery.

Qualifications

• Event operations, design, contracting or production experience - live and online.
• Experience of working across both online and face-to-face events.
• Proven ability to handle challenging environments, individuals, and unforeseen circumstances.
• Experience of delivering brilliant execution to exceptionally high standard.
• Experience of working within and across teams.
• Experience of working across multiple regions and demographics.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver events that achieve client and Innovate UK Business Connect objectives.
• Ensure all attendees enjoy a seamless and high-quality user journey from pre-event to post-event.
• Be creative in delivering innovative events, using a combination of consumer and business-facing initiatives.
• Collaborate across Innovate UK Business Connect, ensuring cross-company skills are deployed and strategy and values are key to every event.
• Budget time and expenditure effectively, communicating forecast changes well before project closure.
• Set objectives for events and measure success against them.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure Innovate UK Business Connect is seen as a valued client.
• Gather knowledge about attendees to continually improve their experience.
