Job summary

Taylor Strategy Partners seeks a Senior Business Development Lead to drive growth across Europe for a global CDMO specializing in complex biochemicals. This is the most senior BD role, leading an established team and winning new business in the GLP-1 space.

Based remotely, the role requires travel, deep pharma relationships, and hands-on deal execution from lead to contract, reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in BD within CDMO, peptide, oligonucleotide, or pharma services sectors.
• Network/track record in European GLP-1 peptide sales.
• Fluency in one or more European languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the European BD strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with the global leadership team to grow GLP-1 manufacturing market share.
• Win new business and manage relationships with medium to large pharma.
• Identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients within Europe and beyond.
• Manage full sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract execution.
• Expand and deepen relationships with strategic accounts.
• Represent the organisation at industry conferences, trade events, and client meetings.
