Job summary

Olympus Recruitment Ltd represents a large organisation with a strong, people-focused culture seeking an Employee Relations & People Engagement Partner. This remote role with limited travel supports a geographically dispersed workforce and acts as a trusted advisor on complex ER matters.

You will influence policies, design engagement initiatives, deliver training to managers, and work alongside HR and operations to ensure compliant, practical solutions that balance business needs with employee

Qualifications

• Strong experience advising on complex and escalated employee relations matters.
• Experience managing employment tribunal cases.
• Experience designing and delivering employee relations training.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused and legally sound advice on complex and escalated employee relations matters.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, redundancy and other sensitive employee cases.
• Manage and support employment tribunal matters, working alongside external employment law specialists where required.
• Build effective relationships with employee representatives and support the resolution of workplace disputes.
• Review and develop HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain legally compliant, practical and aligned with the organisation's culture.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to managers and HR colleagues to strengthen employee relations capability.
• Provide guidance and support on wider people initiatives including wellbeing, inclusion, reward and employee engagement.
• Contribute to HR projects and wider cross-functional initiatives.
• Analyse employee relations data and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Share best practice and support consistency across different areas of the organisation.
• Provide on-site support for particularly complex or sensitive employee relations situations, sometimes at short notice.
