Job summary

Careers Wales Connect is seeking an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) to inspire and support clients across Wales through digital channels, including telephone, webchat and social media. The position is predominantly home-based, with an office base and rota cover for 9am–5pm, 37 hours per week.

Welsh language skills are essential. The role offers flexi time, 31 days annual leave, a contributory pension, and a health-related cash back plan as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent, or experience at this level.
• Welsh language ability is essential to communicate clearly in work-related topics.
• Basic Disclosure check will be required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Support and inspire clients to secure the best possible career.
• Provide information and advice to help clients manage their careers.
• Provide employability support (CVs, job searching) to those returning to work or changing jobs.
• Help clients achieve sustained positive outcomes (education, training, employment).
