Job summary

Careers Wales is seeking an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) to inspire and support people in Wales to plan their careers. The role uses digital channels including telephone, webchat and social media to provide information and advice.

This is a full-time, 37 hours per week role, Monday to Friday, with a rota to cover 9am–5pm. The post is digital, can be based anywhere in Wales, with an office base and occasional attendance as required.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant should be educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent.
• If you do not already have the Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice, we will provide you with the training and support you need.

Responsibilities

• support and inspire their clients to secure the best possible career available for them
• provide information and advice to support clients to manage their careers
• provide employability support (help with CVs, Job Searching activities etc) to those seeking to return to work or to change jobs
• help clients achieve sustained positive outcomes (education, training, employment)
