Job summary

Careers Wales Connect seeks an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) to guide and support people across Wales in planning their future careers. The role is digital and predominantly remote, with an office base and occasional attendance as required.

You will use telephone, webchat and social media to provide information and guidance. The successful candidate must speak Welsh, hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), and be flexible across a 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• Welsh language skills essential for day-to-day conversations and work-related topics.
• Experience in delivering information and advice to diverse client groups.
• Strong customer service ethos with ability to communicate digitally (phone, webchat, social media).

Responsibilities

• Support and inspire clients to secure the best possible career opportunities.
• Provide information and advice to help clients manage their careers.
• Assist with employability tasks (CVs, job searching) and outcomes.
• Engage diverse client groups including young people and adults seeking progression.
