Job summary

Careers Wales Connect is recruiting an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) to work primarily from home across Wales. The role requires Welsh language proficiency and offers a 37-hour week, with a rota covering 9am–5pm and occasional office attendance.

The starting salary is £26,276, rising to £28,256, with attractive benefits including flexi time, 31 days annual leave and a contributory pension. Applications in Welsh or English are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent; Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice encouraged.
• Welsh language ability essential for daily work and communication.
• Experience delivering information and guidance to diverse client groups is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and inspire clients to secure suitable career opportunities.
• Provide information and advice to help clients manage their careers.
• Deliver employability support such as CV help and job search activities.
• Assist clients to achieve positive outcomes in education, training or employment.
