Job summary

Careers Wales Connect is seeking an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential). This full-time role is based in Wales and predominantly remote with an office base. The starting salary is £26,276 and the range goes to £28,256.

The position requires Welsh language proficiency and a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, with rota coverage of opening hours. The role offers flexi time, generous annual leave and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in Welsh and English.
• Experience in guiding careers or employability advice is preferred.
• Knowledge of working with digital channels (telephone, webchat and social media).

Responsibilities

• Provide information and advice to clients about careers, training and job opportunities.
• Support clients to manage their career planning and CVs.
• Conduct employability coaching sessions via digital channels and in person as required.
• Maintain accurate records and complete disclosures when required.
