Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee online sales operations, fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service across digital platforms. Based remotely, you will lead a distributed team and implement best practices to drive efficiency and profitability.

This role offers remote-first flexibility and opportunities to influence backend operations at scale within a growing e-commerce business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management software, OMS, and WMS.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners to achieve favorable terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
• Oversee inventory management, forecasting, and stock control to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the customer experience, including returns and exchanges processes.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other vendors to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains, implementing solutions accordingly.
