Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Data Support Specialist I for CDS Operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for client reporting tools, handling data, reports, and tool issues, while coordinating with agencies, partners, and internal teams.

It offers remote work options within a global data-solutions team. Responsibilities include data investigations, troubleshooting, and user access management for tools like DecisionSource and APIs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service technical support role
• SQL and relational database knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong problem solving and process reengineering skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Conduct data investigations to identify origin and potential corrections
• Troubleshoot data and tool issues/errors, analyzing the return to make an informed deduction to be communicated to requesters
• Set up 3rd Party exports/imports and ensure that we have the necessary Data Release Authorization in place
• Troubleshoot report queries by reviewing report calculations, parameters and underlying data, and explaining what the reporting fields are returning and the report’s purpose
• Create and maintain internal/external user access to our supported tools; DecisionSource, Data Quality Services, FileMover, APIs, etc
• Understand the tools we maintain. You will know processes and best practices to provide training and guidance to users. Continue education on various functions/skills utilized in position
