Job summary

BCD Travel in the United Kingdom is seeking a data-support specialist to conduct investigations, troubleshoot data issues, and manage data exports. The role requires strong SQL skills, relational database knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on analytical problem-solving.

You will set up third-party exports, review report queries, and train users on our tools such as DecisionSource and Data Quality Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service technical support role.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data investigations to identify origins and corrections.
• Troubleshoot data and tool issues and translate findings into actions.
• Set up 3rd party exports/imports and ensure data release authorization.
• Review report queries, explain calculations and report purposes.
• Create and manage user access to tools and provide training.
