Job summary

Confidential in Scotland is recruiting for a remote Customer Service Advisor on an ongoing contract with the potential for extension and permanent placement. Start date: 9 November. You will receive full training and equipment; you simply need a wifi connection and a quiet workspace at home.

The role offers 37-40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday with two weekends off per month, shifts 8am–8pm on weekdays and 8am–6pm on weekends. Standard rate is 13.49 per hour with overtime at 20.23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Strong customer service skills with empathy and clear communication.
• Active listening and problem-solving to resolve queries.
• Confident approach to reassure customers and handle calls.

Responsibilities

• Inbound customer service relating to maintenance queries and emergency calls
• Logging customer notes on the systems
• Troubleshooting to understand the problem and provide first level advice
• Taking call out payments over the telephone where required
• Complaint handling where required
• Taking full ownership of a call, ensuring high levels of customer service
• Making customers aware of other products available at the end of the call
