Job summary

Montana Instruments Corporation is seeking a Cryogenic Sales Engineer for the United Kingdom. This fully remote role works with our customer center in the UK and reports to the Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with strong sales skills, engage with customers across regions, and help drive growth through strategic account planning and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, physics, materials science) or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in customer-facing roles with at least 3 years in sales.
• Prior experience selling technical/scientific products with long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and propose appropriate products, services, or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships.
• Leverage technical expertise to ensure successful implementation of sales strategies.
