Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Credit Controller to join the financial shared services centre on a home-based basis. The role acts as the link between customer accounts and procurement, focusing on collecting invoices while minimising credit risk.

Key duties include issuing statements, managing credit limits, dunning customers, processing credit notes in Netsuite, and reviewing terms based on customer performance. Liaising with USA senior management and EMEA teams is required.

• Credit control reporting including the issuing of customer statements
• Releasing customer orders based on credit limits and overdue balances
• Calling customers and chasing payment
• Undertaking all the dunning duties
• Setting up new customer accounts in Netsuite (Excluding Refinitiv report)
• Reconciling and investigation of customer statements. Liaising with bank accounting department if incorrect customer allocations have been made.
• Processing of approved cases and issue of credit notes in Netsuite.
• Proactively managing customers open orders to ascertain if the customer has a sufficient credit limit or ensuring no overdue invoices will prevent the release of orders.
• Reviewing customer credit limits and payment terms based on payment experience, D&B reporting or customer financial performance.
• Dealing with and processing letters of credit, supporting the specialist letter of credit team based in the USA
