Job summary

Safeguard Global is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to manage customer accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and support healthy cash flow. The role involves analysing data, resolving payment challenges, and building strong customer relationships across a global, remote-first environment.

You will monitor account statuses, apply credit control procedures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to balance timely collections with customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Proactively contact customers regarding overdue balances and follow up on payment commitments.
• Investigate payment delays, identify discrepancies, and resolve account issues.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, communications, and promised dates.
• Monitor account statuses and schedule follow-ups to minimise overdue debts.
• Apply established credit control procedures while balancing customer relationships with collection targets.
