Job summary

CityFibre is seeking a Credit Controller contractor to join our Accounts Receivable team on a 6-month, remote basis. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive on-time payments, resolve billing queries, and contribute to cashflow improvements while delivering excellent service.

Immediate start is required. The role emphasizes strong credit control experience, stakeholder collaboration, and a proactive approach to process improvements within a high-growth fibre network business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable role.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and follow processes.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to complex billing and disputes.
• NetSuite experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, building relationships and ensuring payments are received on time while reducing aged debt.
• Take ownership of customer queries, coordinating with colleagues to achieve timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts, carry out reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Raise invoices and credit notes as needed to support smooth billing processes.
• Identify process improvements and support the wider Accounts Receivable team.
