Job summary

Arc Recruitment is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. This role focuses on cash collection targets and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, record payment commitments, and work with internal teams to resolve outstanding invoices. Strong Excel skills and a proactive, team‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
  • Proven track record of meeting collection targets and reducing aged debt.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Experience using finance systems to maintain accurate customer records.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive, positive team player with a flexible approach.
  • Previous experience managing high‑value or high‑volume accounts is advantageous but not essential.
