Job summary

AssetWorks Inc is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our UK customer base with a focus on cloud-hosted environments and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex application and hosting-related issues, especially after system upgrades, database refreshes, and performance incidents.

You will provide advanced technical support for cloud-hosted applications (Azure), diagnose performance issues, and collaborate with Hosting and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with cloud-hosted applications (Azure IaaS/PaaS) and SQL Server.
• Experience supporting hosted or SaaS applications with strong troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose performance issues and system errors.
• Familiarity with incident management tools such as Zendesk.
• Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for cloud-hosted applications (Azure).
• Troubleshoot issues including database refreshes, upgrades, and performance problems.
• Resolve application errors in test and production environments.
• Assist with batch processing and performance degradation investigations.
• Collaborate with Hosting and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalations.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Support customer environments including testing and production systems.
• Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
