Job summary

Colossus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our UK-based team, providing third-line support for cloud-hosted applications across Azure and AWS. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, incident resolution, and collaboration with Development and Infrastructure teams to ensure service levels.

You will handle deployment of updates, monitor service availability, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business-critical cloud-hosted applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident escalation capabilities.
• Ability to work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience in Azure and AWS environments and deployments.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line support for internally developed cloud applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents escalated from lower support.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to implement workarounds.
• Deploy updates, patches and hotfixes to cloud-hosted platforms.
