Job summary

Virtuozzo is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support Territory Managers and lead the technical side of the sales process. You will work directly with prospects, customers, and partners from discovery through solution validation and commercial close.

This hands‑on, customer‑facing role combines strong infrastructure knowledge with commercial awareness to address technical requirements, operational challenges, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering, pre‑sales, or comparable customer‑facing technical role.
• Experience supporting complex B2B software or infrastructure sales cycles.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, Linux, or related infrastructure technologies.
• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure architectures and deployment models.
• Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops, trials, or PoC projects.
• Ability to translate business and operational requirements into credible technical solutions.
• Strong consulting, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; French or German language skills are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, customers, and partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Partner with the Territory Manager to develop account strategies and remove technical barriers to purchase.
• Lead technical discovery to understand infrastructure, workloads, operating model, and decision criteria.
• Design and present solution architectures based on Virtuozzo’s cloud infrastructure platform.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical solutions and explain their value.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, trials, and PoC engagements.
• Engage with stakeholders from engineers to CTOs and business leaders.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs with clear articulation of capabilities and value.
• Address questions on architecture, deployment, integration, performance, security, and migration.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services to validate solutions.
• Provide customer feedback to inform product positioning and roadmap.
• Support handover to implementation and support teams.
• Contribute to technical sales documentation and reference architectures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Virtuozzo products and cloud technologies.
