Made Tech is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Swansea to help public sector clients transform and modernise digital services. You will deliver high-quality software, coach teammates, and advance cloud-native practices across monoliths and microservices.

You’ll work with Java, Ruby, Python, ES6 with React, and C#/.NET Core, while embracing Terraform, OpenAPI, AWS Lambda and CI/CD. We value learning, collaboration, and delivering real outcomes for users.

Qualifications

• Worked across a variety of programming languages.
• Worked with at least one Cloud platform.
• Worked with databases.
• Worked with APIs.

Responsibilities

• Write and deliver custom software for the public sector.
• Work on monoliths to microservices and coach colleagues.
• Aim for outcome-based delivery with cloud automation and DevOps culture.
• Document architecture and infrastructure as code (Terraform, OpenAPI).
• Utilise containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and AWS Lambda where appropriate.
• Empower teams with the platforms you build; promote ownership and running it.
