Job summary

Colibri Digital is seeking a Cloud Engineering Consultant to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for clients across the UK and EMEA. This remote, client‑facing role will form the backbone of our customers' Data Platform and AI solutions.

You will lead IaC deployments with Terraform/CloudFormation, enable data platforms, and drive CI/CD automation while ensuring security, governance, and cost efficiency. Occasional London-based sessions may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Cloud Consultant role.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC and automation tooling (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design best-practice cloud solutions on Azure.
• Lead hands-on build and deployment of cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Architect data platforms including data lakes and data warehouses.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and apps.
• Provide managed services support, ensuring security and performance.
• Enforce cloud security and governance policies across client environments.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge internally.
