Job summary

Freight Personnel is seeking a Carrier Performance Manager to oversee the international ecommerce delivery network from a remote UK-based home office. You will monitor performance, investigate issues, and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to drive improvements and timely recoveries.

You will analyse service data, raise escalations, and provide clear visibility of trends and root causes to stakeholders, helping safeguard customer experience across the parcel lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing operational performance data and identifying trends.
• Ability to interpret data to identify service failures and improvements.
• Proven track record presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily performance across warehouse, linehaul, clearance and carrier.
• Investigate performance issues, identify trends and root causes.
• Raise and manage escalations to resolution within timescales.
• Escalate significant issues to relevant internal/external teams.
• Produce regular performance analysis and recommendations for the Head of Quality.
• Monitor tracking events and data for inconsistencies or service failures.
• Communicate disruptions and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Support service reviews with insights and observations.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, IT and Carrier Management.
• Maintain documentation on processes, known issues and trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring and reporting.
