Job summary

Abbott in the United Kingdom (Remote) seeks a Remote Care Technical Support Supervisor to lead a team delivering high-quality clinical and technical support for Remote Patient Monitoring and Cardiac Rhythm Management. You will drive operational excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, biomedical, life sciences, healthcare or related field.
• Significant experience in technical support, clinical support, medical devices, remote patient monitoring, or CRM environments.
• Proven leadership or people management with coaching and development success.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience working with KPIs, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Abbott offices and stakeholder locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Remote Care Technical Support Specialists.
• Drive team performance through KPI management, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee talent development, performance reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Manage escalation of complex clinical and technical inquiries.
• Coordinate clinical and technical projects, including product testing and user evaluations.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for team members.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and global stakeholders.
