Job summary

Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division seeks a Remote Care Technical Support Supervisor to lead a specialist team delivering high-quality clinical and technical support for Remote Patient Monitoring and CRM technologies. You will drive operational excellence, coach staff, and coordinate with regulatory, quality, engineering, and sales teams across the region.

The role requires a engineering or life sciences background, leadership experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in technical support, clinical support, medical devices, remote patient monitoring, or CRM environments.
• Demonstrated leadership or people management experience with coaching teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Abbott offices and stakeholder locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Remote Care Technical Support Specialists.
• Drive team performance through KPI management, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage talent development, performance reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Oversee technical support operations and ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
• Coordinate clinical and technical projects, including product testing, communications, and user evaluations.
• Support the development and delivery of technical training programs for new and existing team members.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and global stakeholders on product-related issues.
• Review and approve technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent the EMEA region in cross-functional and international initiatives.
• Act as escalation point for complex clinical and technical inquiries.
• Provide backup technical support to customers and field teams.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, QMS, EMS, and company policies.
