Client Details

This is a completely online accounting firm with a total of six staff working onshore on the East Coast of Australia. The onshore team has a small offshore team supporting them by completing processing work. This structure allows the onshore team, in a flat hierarchy, to focus on client management and advisory services. Clients benefit from strong relationships with their business advisers who are committed to their success.

The firm has successfully adopted this working style, leveraging cloud-based technology (Xero-based practice) to enable effective remote work and contribute to ongoing growth.

Role Description

• You will manage a portfolio of SME clients (average turnovers of $2-5 million).
• Focus heavily on relationship management with business clients.
• Provide value-added advisory services to help clients grow their businesses.
• Coordinate with third parties within the firm's extensive network to assist clients with various business matters, including legal, IT, wealth, and finance.
• Review the tax compliance work of offshore staff.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• CA or CPA qualified or studying towards qualification.
• Over 4 years of experience in professional practice.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a client management role.
• Experience in reviewing work.
