Job summary

Instagrid is seeking a Business Development Manager to win new business across the UK, with a strong emphasis on rail and related sectors. This is a fully remote role with travel across the UK.

You will own the sales cycle from first conversation to closed deal, build a portfolio of high-value customers, forecast accurately, negotiate six-figure orders and report results to the UK and Germany teams. Fluency in English and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding targets.
• Strong technical understanding to explain product value.
• Commercial awareness: margins, COGS, and P&L.
• Accurate, disciplined forecasting.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad.
• Fluent English and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure opportunities across the UK, with a strong focus on rail.
• Close six-figure orders with key decision-makers.
