Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager Apprenticeships. This home/field based role requires proactive outreach to promote Apprenticeship and Commercial training programmes, with travel as needed.

You will build new business and nurture existing client relationships, aiming to hit growth and revenue targets. A strong CV in apprenticeship/skills sectors and proven closing skills are essential, along with a full driving licence for travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience developing new business with SME and Levy employers for Apprenticeships.
• Proven ability to generate employer leads and close deals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of Apprenticeships funding criteria and Levy.
• Track record of meeting targets.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience in Business Services or Early Years is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with businesses to promote Apprenticeship and training programmes.
• Build new relationships and manage existing client accounts.
• Work toward growth and revenue targets.
• Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss needs.
• Advise employers on Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
• Report sales data and forecasts regularly.
• Cross-sell other products to deliver a well-rounded service.
