Job summary

RETAIND Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive fabrication-related opportunities across the UK. The role is predominantly field-based with occasional attendance at the South Birmingham office, offering a car allowance and a detailed focus on developing new business in fabrication, welding and associated engineered manufacturing services.

Qualifications

• Experience selling fabrication or closely related engineered manufacturing services.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel nationally and attend the Birmingham office as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabrication, welding, machining, metalwork and engineered manufacturing markets.
• Target organisations requiring subcontract fabrication, assemblies and related services.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings across the UK.
• Build relationships with buyers, engineers and procurement teams to secure orders.
• Understand drawings and specifications to propose suitable solutions.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through RFQ, quotation and order placement.
