WEC Group Limited is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead Sherburn Metalwork, a growing engineering operation. You will own the P&L, drive profitable growth, and shape long-term strategy while building strong customer relationships.

Based in Sherburn in Elmet with occasional travel, the role offers ownership of a 40+ person unit and a clear path to senior leadership within the WEC Group. You will be responsible for developing a high-performing team and implementing efficiency

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take full operational and commercial responsibility for a 40+ person business unit.

• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Shape culture, performance, and long-term strategy

You’re a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment and knows how to turn opportunity into results.

• Senior management experience within sheet metal / fabrication
• Strong commercial and financial acumen (P&L ownership essential)
• Track record of driving growth and improving profitability
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and deliver through others
• Confident communicator who can influence customers and stakeholders
