Job summary

Our Client is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across a designated territory in the South UK. The role is fully remote, requires strong organisation, self-motivation, and excellent diary management to develop profitable relationships with stockists.

The successful candidate will have proven sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and be comfortable operating with minimal supervision. Attractive rewards and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a proven track record is essential.
• Confident & outgoing personality.
• High level of communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills & commercial awareness of opportunities.
• Good IT skills with high competency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist colleagues when required.

Responsibilities

• Selling into Builders’ Merchants, Specialist Distributors, Roofing Merchants, Electrical Wholesale and similar customers.
• Create strong account relationships, recognising opportunities and maximising potential.
• Identify new products and market gaps.
• Account and product evaluation with key accounts.
• Generating bespoke product profiles.
• Generating structured business plans and driving them forward.
• Negotiating and applying new discounts on new and existing ranges.
• Promoting web ordering.
• Merchandising and training when required.
• Attending various trade show & exhibitions.
• Ensuring the CRM software is used to its highest potential and all notes and contact information is up to date at all times.
