Job summary

Dorchester Search & Selection is recruiting a home-based Sales Manager to lead engagement with Civil and Consulting Engineers across the South West of England and into Wales. The role involves expanding the customer base and driving specifications and orders for an innovative product range.

You will develop external product and application awareness, attend exhibitions, deliver CPDs to architects and engineers, and collaborate with partners to grow turnover while traveling frequently across the

Qualifications

Extensive experience providing CPDs to architects and engineers.
Minimum 2 years in construction materials sector with local authorities and consultants.
Strong contract pricing, bids and tendering knowledge.
Willingness to travel frequently across the southwest and Wales.

Responsibilities

Develop external product awareness among contractors, authorities, architects and engineering practices.
Assist prospects in understanding product specs to support design work.
Generate regular new specifications and convert them to orders.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Contribute to growth by securing new business and increasing turnover.
Attend exhibitions and buyer events.
Provide CPDs to architects and engineers.
Collaborate with external partners and specifiers to support sales.
