Job summary

Wynne Consulting Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own a defined territory and drive growth selling drive technology, servo systems and automation solutions to OEMs. This home-based role includes client visits across Midlands regions with strong technical support and ongoing training.

You will develop long-term customer relationships, identify new opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions that improve operational

Qualifications

• Experience selling industrial drives, servo systems or motion control.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
• Technical understanding of power transmission, motor control and automation.
• Knowledge of inverter drives and servo control systems is preferred.
• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently within a wider sales team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across your territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial markets.
• Promote and sell a range of drive technology, servo systems and related automation solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to order placement.
• Maintain an active and sustainable sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
• Produce accurate forecasts, customer visit reports and opportunity updates.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive high-level support and service.
• Analyse customer requirements and recommend value-added solutions that improve operational performance.
