Job summary

Aspion Search is seeking a Field/Home-Based Regional Business Development Manager to cover the South & East Midlands in the UK. You will drive sales and profitability by winning new business, expanding key accounts and designing-in electromechanical solutions for OEMs across multiple industries.

You will work with Design Engineers, R&D, Procurement and Buyers, managing consultative sales cycles from initial specification through to production and ongoing supply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in technical sales, engineering sales or B2B technical environment.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing key accounts.
• Experienced at selling consultatively to OEMs, manufacturers and product development teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability through new business, account growth and design-in opportunities.
• Target OEMs and engineering businesses needing electromechanical solutions.
• Build relationships with Design Engineers, R&D, Procurement and Buyers.
• Manage technical sales projects from specification to production.
• Grow key accounts via new applications and cross-selling.
• Win new customers and reactivate dormant accounts.
• Manage long, complex sales cycles and development programmes.
• Maintain pipelines, forecasts and market intelligence.
• Conduct regular customer meetings with occasional UK/international travel.
