Job summary
Livingwell Recruitment is partnering with a national healthcare organisation to recruit an ADHD Nurse Independent Prescriber for predominantly remote, UK-wide practice. The role centers on ADHD initiation, titration and ongoing reviews within an expert multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate is an RMN with NMC registration, V300 prescribing, and at least 12 months ADHD experience in an established pathway. Remote consultations and NICE guideline adherence are essential.
Qualifications
- Current NMC registration.
- Recognised V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
- Minimum 12 months' ADHD prescribing experience, including medication titration and reviews.
- Experience in adult mental health services and comorbidities.
- Strong understanding of clinical risk, safeguarding and escalation.
- Proficient in remote consultations and electronic clinical systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ADHD medication initiation, titration and reviews.
- Prescribe safely according to NICE guidelines and governance.
- Support patients with complex presentations and coexisting conditions.
- Assess clinical risks and safeguarding concerns; escalate as needed.
- Provide advice on non-pharmacological strategies; participate in MDT meetings.
