Harley Mental Health Ltd is seeking a senior nurse to lead ADHD services within NHS Right to Choose pathways for adults and young people. The role combines clinical leadership with a small ADHD caseload, including diagnostic assessments and complex titration, with supervision of other clinicians and remote working.

Most work is remote, with office attendance in Manchester as needed. Current NMC registration and V300 prescribing annotation are essential, as is the ability to lead MDTs and ensure

Qualifications

• Five years' post-registration nursing experience in mental health or neurodevelopmental services
• Two years conducting comprehensive adult ADHD diagnostic assessments
• Two years independently prescribing, initiating and titrating ADHD medication

Responsabilités

• Provide senior clinical support across adult and CYP ADHD services with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Registered Manager
• Lead around two comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments per week, mainly in adults
• Manage complex ADHD medication titrations, including initiating, adjusting and reviewing stimulant and non-stimulant meds
• Advise clinicians on medication choices, dosing, interactions and physical health monitoring
• Triage clinical enquiries from patients, parents, GPs and other professionals, prioritising by urgency
• Provide clinical supervision and induction for assessment and prescribing clinicians
• Attend MDT meetings, present complex cases and contribute to diagnosis, risk and safeguarding decisions
• Review complaints/ incidents and contribute to draft responses for senior approval
• Support clinical risk assessment and safeguarding; escalate when remote care is inappropriate
• Participate in clinical audits, prescribing reviews and quality improvement
• Help improve ADHD assessment, titration and monitoring pathways and documentation standards
• Maintain accurate records, safeguarding and mandatory training, and CPD
