Job summary

NHS Jobs is supporting the PH L ADHD Service in expanding its remote clinical team to assess adults for ADHD and to manage initiation and titration of ADHD medications. This role emphasizes autonomous practice within a multidisciplinary setting and aligns with national guidelines for adult ADHD care.

The successful clinician will conduct remote assessments for patients aged 17.5 and over, maintain thorough reviews, and collaborate with Primary Care under Shared Care protocols while contributing

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in independent ADHD diagnostic assessments.
• 2+ years' experience as an Independent Prescriber for ADHD treatment.
• Advanced understanding of adult ADHD and relevant clinical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote ADHD assessments for adults using referral information and screening tools.
• Initiate and titrate ADHD medication in line with guidelines.
• Complete holistic reviews to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Provide specialist advice to empower patients in managing their condition.
• Collaborate with Primary Care teams via Shared Care agreements.
• Engage with partner organisations to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to service development, governance and quality improvement.
