Job summary
Service Care is seeking an experienced ADHD Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) for a remote role supporting children and young people with ADHD within the RTC pathway. You will initiate and titrate ADHD medications, assess suitability, develop treatment plans, monitor effectiveness and coordinate with families.
The position offers £52,000 per annum, fully remote working from home, and the chance to contribute to a specialist paediatric ADHD service with strong multidisciplinary support, flexible
Qualifications
- Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)
- Experience prescribing ADHD medications
- Experience with children and young people with ADHD
- Experience in ADHD medication initiation and titration
- Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Confident working independently within a remote clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Undertake ADHD medication initiation and titration appointments for children and young people.
- Assess patients' suitability for ADHD medication and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe ADHD medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and prescribing protocols.
- Monitor medication effectiveness, tolerability and potential side effects.
- Conduct regular medication reviews and titration follow-ups.
- Provide clinical advice, guidance and support to parents, guardians and carers where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Ensure appropriate clinical monitoring and continuity of care throughout the treatment pathway.
