Job summary

A Business Services organisation is seeking an Accountant for a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. This role is ideal for a Finance or Accounting graduate looking for their second or third position in the industry. The successful candidate will work mostly remotely, with just one day a week in London. Responsibilities include managing month-end activities, overseeing intercompany processes, and preparing financial reports. Two years' experience in a relevant role is required, SAP experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Around two years’ experience within an industry-based accounting role.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end accounting activities, including journals and reconciliations.
• Oversee intercompany processes, ensuring accurate postings and query resolution.
• Prepare statutory and management reporting requirements, including VAT returns.
